3. Data Relating to Minors
Where an Event permits participation by minors:
- Personal data of minors is collected only with the express consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian;
- The parent or legal guardian represents that they are legally authorized to provide such consent and data;
- Such data is used strictly for Event registration, safety management, timing services, result publication, and Event-related communications;
- BookMyRun does not knowingly engage in independent marketing communications directed specifically at minors.
The parent or legal guardian assumes full responsibility for the accuracy of the data provided and for the minor’s participation in the Event.

Participants and Organizers expressly consent that:

- Organizers may use Participant data to promote their Events on the Platform;

Users may opt out of non-essential marketing communications at any time; however, service-related and transactional communications may continue.

- Event Organizers for Event administration and communication;
- timing, technology, and analytics service providers;
- payment gateway providers;

- Race results for Events timed by BookMyRun may be displayed publicly on the Platform, including under the “My Race Result” section.
- Published information may include participant name, bib number, category, timing, and rank.
- By registering for and participating in such Events, Users expressly consent to this publication.

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill operational, legal, regulatory, and business purposes, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
